My name is Robin and I am a designer.   First of all, I have to let you know that I am not offering any design services at this time.  There may still be some spots offering my services simply because this is a large website and I've not gotten to all of the corners to update it.  I'm a single parent working full time with a long commute; I simply do not even begin to have time to be a freelance designer at this point.   But feel free to look around and enjoy the artwork on this site.

Because of the large variety of artwork, this site has essentially been split into 3 main sections.   There is the graphic design section, which is dedicated to the computerized world and is a great section to visit if you are looking for things like logo design, business cards, web design, and flyers.  You can also access some of the photography work that I've worked on.   There is also the CAD section, which delves into the world of engineering and CAD (computer aided design).  It is the creation and documentation of mechanical parts in 3-dimensional space using some really expensive software called Pro-Engineer.   I've taken those two worlds and put them together to create technical drawings for clients too.   It's been interesting working in so many different aspects of the design world.

The third section is the part that you are currenty reviewing and it is the fine arts section of the website.
Here you will fine links to online galleries of some of the work that I've done over the years.   You can look at portrait work done in pastel, graphite, colored pencil, watercolor, and even scratch board.   I've not only drawn many people, but pets, cars, houses, and even a houseboat.  I strive for a photo realistic effect in my portraits. But, I also do caricatures as well, and there is a gallery devoted to just those.  I used to also do what I called economy portraits, which were usually graphite "quick" drawings of people that took only 5 to 8 hours instead of my usual 30 plus hours.  I generally don't offer those anymore, because I just got too carried away with the details, but I've maintained the gallery for my visitors to view.   You may also want to check out the murals gallery too. I have some example of a few murals that I've done - they are probably more of an interior design piece, but still fun to look at.

I used to offer custom picture framing too. That service is no longer available and I do apologize for any inconvenience that may cause my clientelle.

If you have any questions about the process and you don't want to bother with emailing and then waiting for an answer, then the FAQ section may be where you need to go.  Also, if you are wondering how much a portrait or a caricature would cost, then you may want to visit the ordering and pricing section.   You will find several matrixes that will help you to figure out what artwork would fit your budget best, as the commissioned art is priced according to size, medium, and subject matter.

I hope that you enjoy your visit, and feel free to email me with any questions or comments.
